"Join VWS in Supporting the 2011 “Ride for the Border”"

VWS is proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 edition of “Ride for the Border ”http://ridefortheborder.wordpress.com/. Working together with local churches, and the Central Association of Southern Baptists, we hope to raise enough money to purchase materials for a new warehouse storage unit on the property of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in San Luis, AZ. The warehouse will be used to store clothes and food that will be made available for meeting the needs of many people in the San Luis, Arizona / Mexico region. Pastor Manuel and the people of Gethsemane Baptist Church have been compassionately meeting the needs of the people in the San Luis region for over 20 years. We have been to San Luis and seen the love of Pastor Manuel, and all of the Gethsemane gang, first hand…..thus we also know the desperate need for the new warehouse storage unit.
